I am a passionate, experienced and dedicated teacher, who has been teaching Tweens for the most part of my 34 year teaching career.

I have extensive experience team-teaching in progressive schools with agile learning spaces and innovative pedagogy, and am currently designing curriculum for three new Youth Justice Schools in QLD.

This comes after serving 8 years as Head of a Middle School (Years 6-9), then returning to the classroom as a member of Year 6 teaching team, and teaching in an independent, co-ed Special Assistance secondary school offering an alternative approach to education for young people who have disengaged from mainstream schooling.

I am always looking for new and innovative ways to engage Tween learners and make learning relevant to them.
